iPhone 4 Death Grip Issue continues with iOS 4.1 Beta

Apple has just released iOS 4.1 Beta firmware for iPod Touch and iPhone developers. The new Beta version doesn’t have any fix for the Death Grip antenna issue, and many developers have noticed this issue while using iOS 4.1 Beta on their iPhone 4.

MobileCrunch guys have quickly published a video to demonstrate that iOS 4.1 Beta is not the ultimate solution for iPhone 4 users. Check out the video after the break.

As you have seen in the video, iPhone 4 is still showing same problem. If you hold the phone, the signal bars goes down. Once you release it, the bars will show up again. Are you facing the same issue on your iPhone 4?

I for one am getting a little tired of the exclusive focus on this design flaw. Sure it's embarrassing but it's solved with ANY case, which most users choose to have anyway, and aside from it the phone is simply wonderful in every regard. I wouldn't swap it for any plastic monstrosity with less functionality from the plethora of under-performing competitors out there. It's in a class of its own, despite this flaw. Also, I notice you never actually lost signal entirely, so who cares if the bars go down. I'd like to think my friends were interesting enough conversation for me not to notice!!!
