iPhone 5 & iPad 3 to hit the Market in October?

Digitimes, the Taiwanese publication, has once again posted new information regarding iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Since past few months, many people were claiming that the next generation iPhone will launch in September this year.

However, now it looks like the company has delayed the official launch again. According to the Taiwanese sources, Apple will probably announce the iPhone 5 and (surprisingly) iPad 3 in September and will sell these products in October 2011.

Taiwan-based companies included in the supply chain for iPhone 5 and iPad 3 have begun to prepare materials for the production of the two devices, which are likely to make their debuts in September and to hit the market in October, according to industry sources.

Earlier, we have heard that Apple was planning to launch multiple iPhone models in the next launch event, but today’s report contradicts the previous claims. The sources close to suppliers believe that Apple will launch only one device in next few months -

The sources pointed out that Apple only plans to launch one model of the new iPhone, while iPad 3 has just recently been added to the production schedule with both set to be produced in small volumes in August and the volume will start picking up in September and October.

Well, Apple has never launched two iDevices in any of the events, so it would be too early to predict anything at this moment.
