iPhone 5 Jailbreak: Chronic Dev Team to release Userland GreenPois0n Tool

Another good news for the jailbreakers! Chronic Dev Team members have officially announced in MyGreatFest event that they have developed a jailbreak tool for iOS 5 based devices.

The upcoming GreenPois0n jailbreak tool will help users jailbreak their iPhone 5 devices, as the hacker team is waiting for the next iPhone media event. This tool should also work on iPad 2 models, though it has not confirmed by any hacker.

Basically, GreenPois0n tool uses 5 userland exploits, which will eventually bring jailbreak to the iDevices. In case you don’t know about the userland method, it is one of the easiest ways to jailbreak Apple’s devices, and it was previously implemented by Comex in his jailbreak.

Chronic Dev Team’s tool will be released after the release of iPhone 5 devices in the market, which is quite sensible. If they release it now, Apple will release another iOS 5 beta to patch the exploits. So, it’s time to wait, again! iOS 5 developers, however, can use tethered jailbreak tools such Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze to develop their third party apps for users.
