Yesterday, many blogs were reporting about the fake iPhone 5 and iOS 5 leaked images, and now Reuters has almost announced the shipping date of the upcoming iPhone. According to the three people familiar with the matter, Apple will ship next generation iPhone in September 2011 -
Apple Inc suppliers will begin production of its next-generation iPhone in July this year, with the finished product likely to begin shipping in September, three people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
The website also claims that iPhone 5 will have a faster processor and similar design to the iPhone 4 devices.
Apple team has included A5 processor in iPad 2 and it looks like this new processor will also be featured in iPhone 5. However, it’s hard to believe that Apple has actually postponed their yearly schedule for new iPhone launch. We have followed similar iPad 2 delay rumors in the first quarter, but Apple proved everyone wrong again.
Even if we assume that Apple is going to launch the new product in September this year, we don’t have any clues about the iPod Touch 5G launch, which always happens during the same period. Will it be delayed too?
