iPhone OS 2.2 Firmware Update Available

iPhone OS 2.2 firmware is here! Today, Apple has released new firmware for iPhone and iPod touch with some cool features and fixes from previous firmware.

As we had already discussed here, new iPhone firmware update has Google Street View, over the air Podcast, public transit, walking directions and many more. You can get these features from iTunes.

But Apple team has disappointed all the iPhone users in this update by not providing MMS and copy-paste features. Now, we can only hope that Apple team will include these features in next update.

Looking at the past firmware updates, jailbreaking should be available within 2-3 days. Till then enjoy snapshots of new applications displayed on engadget. :)
