iPhone OS 4.0 Features Leaked


iPhone 4.0 We have been listening to so many Apple product rumors these days. It seems rumors train is not going to stop anytime soon because folks at BGR have managed to gain the details of iPhone OS 4.0.

They have received these iPhone 4.0 details from an Apple insider, so we might see all these features in official update. According the source, iPhone 4.0 will bring multitouch gesture and multitasking to iPhone.

iPhone 4.0 Features

  • Multitouch gestures OS-wide
  • Multitasking
  • Many graphical and UI changes to make navigation better.
  • The update will supposedly be available for only the iPhone 3G and 3GS.
  • New syncing abilities for contacts and calendar applications.

Multitasking on iPhone is not available with iPhone 3.1.2 firmware, but iPhone 4.0 update will allow this feature on iPhone for the first time. It will certainly increase the efficiency and productivity of the phone.

Apple event is scheduled on Jan. 27th at San Francisco. They have planned to release iTablet, iPhone 4.0 and iLife 2010 on the same day.
