With the last JailbreakMe 3.0 release, many users found their CDMA iPhones to have stuck at the Apple logo and are unable to boot. Luckily, a fix has been instantly released to cure that.

A quasi-experimental fix can get you out of it if you are suffering from this problem on your CDMA iPhone. Here’s how to do it.
Hold the Home button and the Power button together until you see a “Connect to iTunes” screen. Connect the phone to your computer and use iTunes to restore your iPhone to the latest firmware available. This step will cause you data loss on your iPhone.
Use the quasi-experimental fix using Redsn0w. You will need to download:
- Redsn0w 0.9.6rc19 for Windows/Mac
- Fix bundle, for your firmware version: 4.2.6 / 4.2.7 / 4.2.8
- IPSW for your firmware version: 4.2.6 / 4.2.7 / 4.2.8
Start Redsn0w. Now select your IPSW package, choose ‘Install custom bundle‘ to select your fix bundle. Follow the directions ahead. After the step is completed successfully, your Verizon CDMA iPhone will boot properly!
