Comex, the talented hacker in iOS jailbreak community, has been using JailbreakMe.com URL to release his untethered jailbreak tools based on userland technique. Today, MuscleNerd, the iPhone Dev team member, has informed everyone that the domain is no longer available for jailbreaking of iDevices.
According to his tweet, the owner of JailbreakMe.com has sold the domain name for few bucks -
It’s sad @ConceitedApps sold out http://jailbreakme.com for $$. Luckily we have http://jailbreaks.me and won’t ever sell out.
Fortunately, they already have a related domain name – Jailbreaks.Me. Although it redirects to Comex’s Twitter account right now, it will soon be used as a new location to serve the jailbreak for iDevices.
For those who want to jailbreak their devices using JailbreakMe tool, please be patient. Comex and his team will upload all the required information on this new domain name. As far as the method of jailbreaking is concerned, it will remain same. You just have to visit the vulnerable page i.e. Jailbreaks.Me instead of JailbreakMe.com.
