Amazon today launched a new tablet, Kindle Fire, in the tablet market. The device is priced at $199 and will run on custom OS based on Google’s Android operating system.

Many users have been waiting for today’s Amazon event and now that it has been officially announced by the company, people have started comparing it with other available tablets in the world. And as usual, it is being considered as an iPad killer.
Of course, both tablets are designed to serve different set of users and there is no real competition between these two devices. But still, if you want to clear the confusion from your mind, take a look at the following comparison table -

As said earlier, we can’t really compare these two devices. However, Kindle Fire can certainly give tough competition to the tablet devices in its low-end segment. If you don’t want to see a big hole in the pocket, go for Kindle Fire.
