When Motorola launched their Android based Motorola Droid in the US, people were desperate to try out Android on the new phone. The phone was really a good package of hardware and software.
Now, Droid manufacturers are going to launch, Droid 2, an upgraded version for Android fans. The rumors are suggesting that the Droid 2 will get all advanced features so that it can compete with other leading phones.
The folks over at Droid Life have shared an image of Droid 2 running on Android 2.2 Froyo. Yes, the upcoming phone will be featuring Google’s latest Android 2.2 operating system.

The above snapshot also depicts that Droid will have similar blur skin as Droid X. It seems Motorola and Verizon have big plans for their customers. If everything goes according to plans, we might see Droid 2 launch in coming months.
