Scratch that. I forgot about the moto milestone. Even though its not the Droid, its still considered the gsm droid. So my official opinion is that as a PHONE, droid is 100 times better. In the US

Yes, I am living in the US. This is where the rivalry matters since the Droid only works in the US. So “Who’s the best” would only apply here for now. When and if Verizon introduces a quadband Droid, we might be able to compare the two a little better as far as connectivity in the same places.

I guess you’re living in the US where people are facing such issues with iPhone. If you look at other countries, people are having very less problem in making or receiving phone calls.

This post was to compare the 2 “PHONES”. Not at any point were they compared as a phone that makes and receives calls. I work in Verizon sales and my co worker has the iPhone. Being right next to each other, I can call his iphone with my Droid and his phone won’t even acknowledge an incoming call. We use it as an example daily. Don’t get me wrong, the iphone is a magnificent “multimedia device”, but as a phone, i’d rather get an iPod Touch. Oh yeah, can’t wait for the flash player 10.1 comin to Android.

I agree with Nate on this one the Droid is plenty sufficient for my needs and the needs of anyone. Plus a good camera/camcorder! I love mac and that is all I use as far as computers ipods and such, but I will never go to AT&T TERRIBLE SERVICE JUST TERRIBLE! Much rather have a little less phone (some people may think) than a network that drops calls and has NO network coverage.

Motorola Droid has to go a long way to be a true iPhone Killer. iphone is in market for couple of years now and has improved with time.

Droid itself is a good device but it's too early to term it as a iPhone killer as the OS itself is relevantly new.
