Motorola Droid, the best phone in android series, is currently available to US Verizon subscribers. Motorola has got very good response from mobile phone users and they have decided to bring it for worldwide users too.
Official sources at Motorola have confirmed that they would be launching Motorola Droid ‘unlocked version’ in February 2010. They are also planning to launch Motorola Droid 2 (Sholes) along with Droid.
These days we have been listening to so many rumors about futuristic mobile phones, which have high-end specifications and attractive features as compared to Motorola Droid. If Motorola launches the phone in next year, it would be difficult for the phone to sustain in the mobile phones competition.
At this moment, Motorola Droid costs $199 in the US. If company decides to launch it worldwide, then the phone price might go up and people would also consider other options.
