iPhone 5 Shipments to begin in September [Report]

Continuing the development process of iPhone 5, Apple team has reportedly ordered 10 million iPhone devices from Pegatron Technology. As suggested by industry sources, these mobile phones will be shipped in the month of September.

As iPhone gross margins are relatively small, Pegatron aims to compete for orders for iPad, MacBook Air and other Apple products and has increased production equipment and employment, the sources said.

Although Apple has signed a new deal with Pegatron Technology, Foxconn, the popular Apple device manufacturer will continue to provide its models to the Cupertino based company. Apple, on the other hand, has not confirmed any of these rumors yet, so it’s hard to predict the release date of iPhone 5.

As we reported yesterday, Apple will probably follow the launch schedule and will eventually roll out the next generation iPhone in next month. Several other sources claim that iPhone 5 launch will be delayed again, and may be launched in October, but these are nothing more than plain rumors and speculations.

Get ready to hear more rumors as we head towards the iPhone 5 event!
