All iDevice jailbreakers were expecting PwnageTool release on last Sunday, but iPhone Dev seems to have changed their plans. Limera1n and GreenPois0n jailbreak tool have been working perfectly on most of the devices to help jailbreak the iOS 4.1 firmware.
However, these tools are not really helpful for iPhone users. If you want to use Limera1n or GreenPois0n on your iPhone, you will have to upgrade it to iOS 4.1, which will obviously update the baseband value of the device. PwnageTool for iOS 4.1 allows iPhone users to keep their old baseband value and jailbreak devices with cooked custom firmware.
Today, Musclenerd has shared the first image of PwnageTool, which depicts the names of supported devices.

So as you can see in above image, PwnageTool supports iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, iPad and Apple TV. Once the tool is released, we will let you know about it.
