iPhone jailbreaking is becoming very difficult for users as well as tools developers. The latest firmware, iPhone 3.1.2 has several issues in jailbreaking and unlocking the phone safely.
The iPhone dev team had announced that they will not update their popular jailbreaking tool, redsn0w. They released PwnageTool 3.1.4 to jailbreak the iPhone 3.1.2 OS. iPhone users didn’t like it much, and many of them switched to other tools like blackra1n and blacksn0w.
An iPhone dev, MuscleNerd has tweeted about upcoming jailbreak tool. Let’s see what he has to say -
yay, managed to recover the long lost source code to redsn0w
..will port it to 3.1.2FW if there’s any interest (mac+win+linux)
It’s a great news for iPhone users who were waiting for redsn0w 0.9. You can see the screenshot of redsn0w 0.9 below.

So, now sit back and wait for the announcement of redsn0w 0.9. As soon as it release on the internet, I’ll post a guide to use this tool.

i hope there’s a fix for the push notifications and wifi problems
