Running Out of Disk Space [Cydia Error Fix]

When I was trying to install Cydia on my jailbroken iPod Touch, an unusual message popped up on the screen. Here’s the text from that message -

You’re running out of disk space. Please delete some photos or videos.

Cydia Disk Space

Firstly, I tried to delete few photos and videos from my iPod Touch, and then tried to install Cydia tool again. No luck! The installation stopped in the middle of the process and I got the same “running out of disk space” message on the iPod Touch. Anyway, I have found the fix to resolve this error. If you’ve seen any such error while installing the Cydia, use the following methods.

Cydia Storage

Method 1: Reinstall iOS firmware on your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad and jailbreak it again with the same tool.

Method 2: For iOS 3.0 users, download BossTool app and allocate the required space for Cydia apps and games.

Method 3: Jailbreak your iDevice on the latest firmware. Once the jailbreak is complete, reboot the device. Now, open the Loader application and start the Cydia app installation process. (Note: This method worked for me!)

Method 4: When I did some research on this issue, I found out that people who are using Limera1n or GreenPois0n jailbreak tool to jailbreak the firmwares are affected in large numbers. Both these tools don’t have the facility to install Cydia while jailbreaking the device, and users need to install through Loader app. So, try jailbreaking your device with other tools such as Redsn0w, PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze.

Method 5: Open the root folder of your device using any disk utility software and delete unimportant files.

These five methods should help you in this problem. Do try them and let us know if it has worked for you.
