Many accounts have been infected by this ‘Mikeyy’ worm which is said to be designed by a 17 year old guy from stalkdaily.com. People are worried about twitter worm and asking for help on twitter. Well, simply follow the guidelines and precautions given below to remove the worm.
How to Avoid Twitter Worm?
- Don’t use twitter from any browser. Prefer desktop twitter clients.
- Don’t visit infected profiles.
- Don’t click on link which contains URL of stalkdaily.
- Don’t tweet or retweet ‘Mikeyy’ related tweets.
- Don’t follow new people which are already infected by twitter worm.
How to Remove Twitter Worm?
- Delete ‘Mikeyy’ related tweets from your twitter account.
- Change the old password and keep a new, difficult password.
- Change the personal details like website URL, Bio.
- Delete Browser’s cache and cookies.
