Google’s Android phone, Nexus One, has gone out of stock. Yes, you read it right. A month back, Google had discontinued the direct purchase service from their site and made it available for the registered developers.
In today’s update on the official Android Developers blog, their team members have announced that the new Nexus One developer units will take some time to come out. HTC, the hardware partner of the Nexus One, is not finding difficulties to manufacture the devices.

Google has added life to the Android it will now run on your voice commands!
Google has almost overpowered the Android platform now. A voice action feature – instead of talking on the phone you will now talk with the phone-at least that is what the Google wants you to do. The Android platform has been enabled to work on voice commands. The company believes new capabilities like voice actions will keep it ahead of the game.
To use Voice Actions, tap the microphone button on the Google search box on your home screen, or press down for a few seconds on the physical search button on your phone to activate the “Speak Now” screen.

After successful launch of HTC EVO 4G, Sprint is going to launch Epic 4G in association with Samsung on August 31st. Samsung has done a great job with its Samsung Galaxy S, which is getting overwhelming response from users around the world.
Currently, Samsung Epic 4G is packed up with Android 2.1 OS, but Sprint has promised to provide Android 2.2 update to the device in coming months. Since the Epic 4G is the Sprint variant of Galaxy S, it will resemble similar features.

The Motorola Droid that spread the Android cult to the US market- Motorola and AT&T have decided to release the new version of the phone. This is probably an attempt of the company to recreate the Droid magic again.
The successor definitely is more powerful than the original Droid, as it carries the Android 2.2 platform; way higher than what the Droid had to offer. It also includes support for Flash 10.1.
