Samsung and AT&T to bring Samsung Captivate

Looks like AT&T is not relying on iPhone 4 this summer. The company has joined hands with Samsung to offer the Samsung Captivate to its users. The Samsung Captivate is the rebadged version of the Samsung Galaxy S.

The phone features a massive 4” Super AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution, and a 1GHz Humming bird CPU. The device also packs in 512MB of RAM, along with 16GB of storage.

AT&T revises 3G Plan Charges; 2GB Free Data Usage for $25/month

AT&T has always been criticized for its poor network coverage and slow 3G speed. Currently, AT&T offers unlimited 3G data plan for $30 a month. AT&T has introduced 2 new schemes for people with low data usage.

These 2 plans are known as DataPlus and DataPro. The DataPlus offers up to 200MB of free data usage for only $15 a month. If the users exceed the 200MB data limit, then thanks to the DataPro scheme they need to pay another $15 for the next 200MB of data usage. This saves the user from paying the excessively high per/MB charges.

AT&T announces Android based Dell Aero

AT&T Dell Aero, an android based device, is now set to launch for AT&T customers. There is not much information available on this device yet, but AT&T has confirmed the Dell Aero news in an announcement.

Sprint Ad Campaign shows 4G iPhone

Apple is going to reveal its new iPhone at WWDC 2010 this year. The name of upcoming iPhone is not confirmed yet, but some sources suggest that it would be named as iPhone 4G or iPhone HD.

Whatever may be the name of the phone it will surely have advanced features like 4G network support. Sprint has released an advertisement in which they have shown an Overdrive 4G mobile hotspot. This device basically provides 4G network connectivity to mobile phones.

Apple Tablet Apple is seems to be building strong relationship with Verizon Wireless. Verizon subscribers are expecting iPhone 4G in Q2 of 2010 and now we have one more good news from rumors mill.

According to latest rumors from TheStreet, Apple will be selling iTablet on a subsidized plan through Verizon Wireless in the US. This is a big disappointment for AT&T because they are the official iPhone partner of Apple.

Now, all Apple fans are desperately waiting for WWDC 2010 so that they can see Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs on the keynote again.

According to some rumors, iPhone 4G will be launched in WWDC 2010. Apple always launch a new phone during WWDC and in WWDC’09 also they have released iPhone 3GS.
