Microsoft’s MIX10, a 3 day annual conference, is scheduled between 15th and 17th March. The official event will start at 9 AM P.D.T. in Las Vegas.
Bill Buxton, Scott Guthrie, Dean Hachamovitch and Joe Belfiore will start the event with their keynotes. The highlights of the event are IE9, Silverlight 4, Windows Live Wave 4 and of course, Windows Phone 7!

Microsoft’s much awaited event, MIX10, is going to start in few hours from now. This event is specially organized for web designers and developers building the world’s most innovative web sites.

Apart from Windows Phone 7, Microsoft is busy in launching its new software, Office 2010. Today, they have announced the official launch date of MS Office 2010.
Microsoft has organized an event on May 12 for the launch of its much awaited product where they will release the software for enterprises with volume license agreements. Office 2010 will be out sometime in June for consumers.

Microsoft revealed its upcoming mobile OS, Windows Phone 7 at MWC 2010 and after looking at the first presentation, everyone surely wants to try this handsome OS.
At MWC 2010, Microsoft didn’t give much emphasis on software part, but they are expected to share more details on Windows Phone 7 OS in forthcoming MIX 2010. However, Microsoft’s Charlie Kindel has shared some insights on Windows Phone development.

HTC HD2 users were hoping to get Windows Phone 7 update on their mobile phone. HTC’s official twitter account had also updated about Windows Mobile 7 on HD2, but it seems Microsoft and HTC are not going to provide any new update for the device.
Natasha Kwan, Microsoft’s Mobile Communications Business in the Asia-Pacific region, has given an interesting statement on future Windows Phone 7 update for HTC HD2.

Today, Microsoft has finally revealed Windows Phone 7 in first keynote at MWC 2010. There were some rumors about the name of Windows Mobile OS, but now it’s confirmed. All the future Windows Phones will be manufactured under Windows Phone 7 series.
Windows Phone 7 looked really promising and futuristic as compared to other popular operating systems in the world. The good thing about it is that it supports multitouch to enable smooth functionality on phones.

Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates has expressed his views on Apple’s latest creation iPad in an interview with Brent Schlender of BNET. Microsoft is one of the biggest rivals of Apple and they never leave a chance to criticize Apple products.

Many internet users still use old browsers to surf different websites because it comes with operating system, for ex. Microsoft’s Windows XP has Internet Explorer 6 as a default browser.
