Everything is going bad for Apple these days. In recent iPhone 4 conference, Apple tried to explain antenna issue and related problems of their newly released iPhone. Steve Jobs defended signal reception issue by showing multiple examples of different phones.
This strategy of bringing other manufacturers in the iPhone 4 antenna controversy doesn’t seem to help Apple. The manufacturers have already started bashing the Cupertino based company for pulling their names in the debacle.

Nokia has just rolled out a new firmware update for the Nokia X6. The Nokia X6 features a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen with an nHD (360×640) resolution. The firmware update is numbered v21.0.004. This new firmware update is a pretty major one with many of the native applications of the phone getting an update.
First of all the web-browser of the phone has been updated to v7.2. The web browser now features Kinetic scrolling, and also automatically goes into the full screen mode. Along with this, the Ovi Sync, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Store and Ovi Music clients of the phone have been updated as well.

Nokia has just released a new firmware update for the Nokia 6700 Classic. The new firmware update is numbered v13.10.
The major change with this firmware update is that the Nokia 6700 Classic now features free voice-guided and turn-by-turn navigation as well. The Nokia 6700 is the first Series 40 phone from Nokia to get free turn-by-turn and voice guided navigation.

It looks like the Nokia N8 has a QWERTY-keyboard based sibling. The folks over at Negri managed to get hold of a prototype of the Nokia N9.
The phone packs in an 8MP camera, along with dual-LED flash. The phone also has a slide out QWERTY keyboard, which tilts the screen to a certain angle for the viewing pleasure of the user. This is similar to the Nokia N97. The phone has support for dual-band UMTS 850/1900.

Today Nokia announced the Nokia X5-01 at the Nokia Connection event held in Singapore. The Nokia X5 is a “square-QWERTY” slider running on Symbian S60 3rd edition. The phone display size measures 2.36-inch, having a (240*320) QVGA resolution. Looking at the picture of the device, I can confidently say it is the worst looking phone I have ever seen.
The phone packs in 128MB of RAM, and 200MB of internal storage. The phone features Wi-Fi, tri-band HSDPA, Bluetooth, quad-band GSM and a microUSB port. The handset also sports a 3.5mm jack.

Along with the four low-end C series handsets, Nokia also launched a bicycle charger for its mobile phones yesterday! This new accessory from Nokia is mainly targeted at developing countries and rural places, where electricity is still scare.
The Nokia Bicycle Charger Kit uses dynamo to charge a phone. The charger uses the standard Nokia 2mm charging port.

Nokia today has launched four new low-end C series handsets. Out of these four handsets, two handsets sports dual-SIM functionality. The names of these devices are the Nokia C1, C1-01, C1-02 and the Nokia C2.
Nokia surely needs to find a better naming scheme here. The Nokia C1 and C2 feature the dual-SIM functionality. In the Nokia C1, only one SIM card can be active at any given time.

Nokia has just out a new firmware update for its current flagship handset – the Nokia N900. The Nokia N900 has a 3.5-inch resistive screen, and has a QWERTY keyboard in a sliding form-factor. The N900 is the lone Nokia handset to run on the Maemo OS. The new firmware update is numbered v1.2.
The new firmware update brings some improvements in the email department. Users can now decline or accept a Facebook event invitation right from within an email. The default IM client of the N900 now also supports Facebook Chat. The menu system of the device has also been changed to make it more customizable.

The Nokia N8 already has a killer of a camera. Now it has been proved that the phone has killer hardware specifications as well. The N8 is the first Symbian S60 version 5 phone from Nokia to feature a graphics hardware accelerator.
The folks over at FinestFones.com benchmarked a prototype version of the Nokia N8. The 680Mhz ARM 11 processor and the 3D HW Accelerator sure have not disappointed.
