Thesis theme is a one of the best affiliate products I have ever come across in my life. I like the way they show all the affiliate stats, sales details in one account. Their support system also works brilliantly and they have replied to all my queries with proper suggestions.

Today, I checked my mailbox in the morning and saw an email from DIYthemes about the change in affiliate program. Later on, I checked Brian Clark’s post on Copyblogger for more information.

The Thesis Theme from Chris Pearson and DIYthemesOne of the Tech Exclusive readers had mailed me a Thesis theme query. He wanted to display categories in nav bar, as I have placed on the header of this blog.

Thesis theme version 1.6 has default settings to show blog pages in nav bar, but you can also set different categories in place of pages. You can display some of the important blog categories on top of the main content so that readers can get more information about particular topic.

The Thesis Theme from Chris Pearson and DIYthemesThesis theme customization is fun, but some people find it difficult and boring. Few days back, one of the Tech Exclusive readers sent me a query about showing advertisements in each post.

If you have similar kind of query, then you can use the following tutorial. There are actually two methods by which we can display advertising in the post of Thesis based blogs. Let’s take a look at them.

The Thesis Theme from Chris Pearson and DIYthemesThesis WordPress theme is popularly known for its customization ability. It allows bloggers to create versatile designs from its simple design. This feature of Thesis theme is quite efficient as blogger can use single theme over different blogs by just tweaking it here and there.

Thesis customization is not as easy as it sounds. I have written tutorials on how to add twitter field and how to add favicon in Thesis theme, which requires technical knowledge of WordPress. Today, I am sharing another tutorial to include 125 x 125 advertisement blocks in sidebar of Thesis theme.

Customizing Thesis WordPress theme is not an easy thing to do. It requires special coding skills as it is quite different from other WordPress themes.

There are some default features in Thesis theme which are not much useful for blogs. Many Thesis users don’t like the no. of comments “{comments}” feature on their blog’s homepage. This irritating feature can easily be removed with the help of following two methods.

Yesterday, I was just playing with Thesis code and found a very useful hack to add twitter field in the comment section of any WordPress theme.

If you put twitter field in the comment section of your blog then it would be easy to maintain a blogger-reader relationship, and it would also give good visibility to reader’s twitter profile.

Ok, this is the post many users had asked for. Thesis, as we know, is one of the most wonderful themes around. But putting your own logo in the header is a bit tricky. You may find some tutorials for it, but they are all messy and would require a lot of programming knowledge. I will tell you how to achieve this easily.

Actually, there are two ways to do this. The first one is simple, but it won’t make the logo clickable. The idea is to put the logo as a background to the blog name value, so it can’t be linked to anywhere. The second one is less simpler (remember, I didn’t say difficult ;) ) ,which overcomes this problem and I personally recommend it. Read on for both options. [click to continue…]
