Goodbye to New Thesis Affiliate System!

Thesis theme is a one of the best affiliate products I have ever come across in my life. I like the way they show all the affiliate stats, sales details in one account. Their support system also works brilliantly and they have replied to all my queries with proper suggestions.

How to display Categories in Thesis Nav Bar?

The Thesis Theme from Chris Pearson and DIYthemesOne of the Tech Exclusive readers had mailed me a Thesis theme query. He wanted to display categories in nav bar, as I have placed on the header of this blog.

Thesis theme version 1.6 has default settings to show blog pages in nav bar, but you can also set different categories in place of pages. You can display some of the important blog categories on top of the main content so that readers can get more information about particular topic.

Yesterday, I was just playing with Thesis code and found a very useful hack to add twitter field in the comment section of any WordPress theme.

If you put twitter field in the comment section of your blog then it would be easy to maintain a blogger-reader relationship, and it would also give good visibility to reader’s twitter profile.

Ok, this is the post many users had asked for. Thesis, as we know, is one of the most wonderful themes around. But putting your own logo in the header is a bit tricky. You may find some tutorials for it, but they are all messy and would require a lot of programming knowledge. I will tell you how to achieve this easily.

Actually, there are two ways to do this. The first one is simple, but it won’t make the logo clickable. The idea is to put the logo as a background to the blog name value, so it can’t be linked to anywhere. The second one is less simpler (remember, I didn’t say difficult ;) ) ,which overcomes this problem and I personally recommend it. Read on for both options. [click to continue…]
