Microsoft has just announced the pricing details of Kinect for Xbox 360. The highly anticipated Kinect hardware is priced at $149.99, which will be bundled with Kinect Adventures game.

Apart from Kinect price announcement, the company has also revealed Xbox 360 4GB model. The Xbox 360 4GB will cost $199.99, and will be available on August 3.

Apart from all iPhone 4, iPad news and Steve Jobs email controversy, there are some interesting things going on in the tech world. Microsoft has been planning to launch Kinect a.k.a. Project Natal in next few months.

Microsoft team had announced the official ‘Kinect’ name in this year’s E3 event and now they are trying out some promotional strategies to make it a next big thing in the gaming industry.

The Project Natal finally has an official name – the Microsoft Kinect. Microsoft announced the official name of the Project Natal at the Xbox E3 event. The event was specifically held to give the world a premiere of the Project Natal. No live stream of the event was available, but readers can catch the premiere of ‘Kinect’ on MTV on Tuesday.

Microsoft demonstrated quite a few game demos, which included Star Wars. A video chat application called “Video Chat” (huh!) was also demonstrated. Up to four users can video chat simultaneously, and can share photos.  From the demo which MS showed, Kinect sure looks interesting.

Project Natal Microsoft’s much awaited gaming peripheral, Project Natal, is going to be revealed at upcoming E3 2010 event. Microsoft fanboys as well as gamers are already excited and eagerly waiting to take a look at this innovative device.

Even though Project Natal is debuting in E3 2010 event, Microsoft has no plans to launch it very soon. Syed Bilal Tariq, a Microsoft marketing manager in Saudi Arabia, has confirmed its launch in October 2010.

Project Natal Good news for Xbox 360 users! Microsoft’s Project Natal is coming very soon. Microsoft has specially sent out invitations for the World Premiere of Project Natal, which is held on June 13 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 at Los Angeles.

Project Natal allows users to control gaming experience through their commands and gestures. Microsoft had already explained the concept of the upcoming Natal in the last year where they received lots of admiration from tech savvy users.

Microsoft has made some announcements related to Xbox 360.These announcements will surely make gamers and lovers of Xbox 360 very happy. The 20GB Xbox 360 will now be $50 cheaper, with a new retail amount of $299.Other interesting announcement is, the 20GB unit is being replaced by a 60GB console. It will be available to users in the US in early August. This new Xbox 360 will cost for $349.

Redmond, Washington—Microsoft is giving consumers more gigabytes for their buck. The company today announced an Xbox 360® console with triple the storage space of the original console, but for the same price of $349 (U.S.) estimated retail price.

Available in retail stores in the U.S. and Canada starting in early August, the upgraded Xbox 360 will include a 60GB hard drive for storing the growing wealth of digital entertainment available for the console, including music, movies, television shows, and game content. In addition, Microsoft today dropped the price of its 20GB Xbox 360 console in the U.S. and Canada to just $299 (U.S.) (ERP) while supplies last, a savings of $50.

“We know consumers need more and more space to store the amazing digital content Xbox 360 offers, and we’re giving it to them at no extra charge,” said Albert Penello, Xbox director of product management at Microsoft. “No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver, and now you’ll have three times the storage to manage all that great content.”

Xbox 360 is just one of three Xbox 360 gaming and entertainment systems Microsoft offers. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Arcade, which comes with a 256MB memory unit and five Xbox LIVE Arcade games, is a value for the whole family for $279 (U.S.) (ERP), and the premium Xbox 360 Elite console is available with a 120GB hard drive for $449 (U.S.) (ERP).
