Guide to unlock iPhone 3G/3GS iOS 4 with Ultrasn0w 0.93
Requirements:
- Jailbroken iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS
- Cydia
Steps to follow:
1. Open ‘Cydia’ tool on iPhone and select ‘Manage’. Go to ‘Sources’.
2. Select ‘Edit’.
3. Add following URL to repo directory.
Repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com
4. Now, search for Ultrasn0w 0.93 in Cydia and install it on the phone.
5. Ultrasn0w 0.93 will unlock your iPhone running iOS 4.
6. Reboot the iPhone.
Hurray! Your iPhone is unlocked successfully.
when i try to restore the custom image… then there is nothing happening… just wait…. no progressbar.
after 5 mins there is an error
any idea? the phone is not in restore mode.
During the install it said “cannot activate cellular network”. installation continued. Rebooted without a hitch, and am showing ATT service. My question – is it unlocked ? Is there a way that I can tell without putting a T-Mobile SIM card into the phone?
