Unlock iPhone 4 with Ultrasn0w 1.0-1


Yay! iPhone Dev team has finally released the updated version of Ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 4 devices. As informed earlier, the new Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 works on iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4.

iPhone unlockers can effectively use this tool on following basebands -

  • iPhone 4 baseband 01.59
  • 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04

Ultrasn0w 1.0-1

Here’s a quick guide to unlock iPhone 4 using Ultrasn0w 1.0-1. Please note that iPhone 4 T-Mobile USA users will have to disable the 3G mode before unlocking the phone. This can be done by navigating to the following path.

Requirements:

Steps to follow:

1. Open “Cydia” on iPhone 4.

2. Select “Manage” and go to “Sources”.

3. Select “Edit” and add following repo in the given space.

http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com

4. Tap on “Add Sources”.

5. Once you are done with adding the above repo, search “Ultrasn0w” or “Ultrasn0w 1.0-1” in Cydia directory.

6. Install the Ultrasn0w app on your phone, and it will automatically unlock iPhone 4.

7. Reboot the phone and enjoy your unlocked iPhone 4.
