Untethered iOS 4.3 Jailbreak – Work in Progress

While everyone is busy jailbreaking their iPhone and iPod Touch devices with untethered GreenPois0n RC5, Apple has already patched the exploit used in this jailbreak tool, and now there is no other untethered exploit available for the upcoming iOS 4.3 firmware update. Apple has been releasing iOS 4.3 beta software in quick succession, and it means that the final version would pop-up anytime soon in the iTunes.

iPhone Dev team knows that it is important to get untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3. Hence, MuscleNerd and Comex have started working on a new goal to bring untethered support to Monte jailbreak tool.

4.3 untethered

Redsn0w 0.9.7 has the capability to get tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3, as it has been tested on iOS 4.3 beta releases. Now, the only thing they want is an untethered exploit. Chronic Dev team members have also been working on similar task, so we can expect untethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak in near future.
