Want some Android Ice Cream?

Android Ice Cream! Oh yes, that’s the name of the next Android OS after Gingerbread and Honeycomb operating systems. Google team likes desserts, and they seem to continue their tradition with Ice Cream OS.

According to the president of ARM, Tudor Brown, Google is going to follow their roadmap for next OS updates, and Ice Cream OS will (hopefully) come out after the Honeycomb update. If we consider the naming pattern, Google would probably select a dessert name, which begins with ‘I’.

Android 3.0 Gingerbread will be released later this year, and then the team will start the development of Android 3.5 Honeycomb OS. Now, does that mean Android 4.0 will be the Ice Cream OS? Well, Google officials have not said anything on this leaked information.

Anyway, we should now start guessing the OS name after Ice Cream OS. You can also suggest the desserts’ names that have ‘J’ as initial letter.
