Windows 7 Beta 1 WMP 12 MP3 Corruption Bug Fix – KB961367


Many people have downloaded leaked copies of Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 from various torrent sites and installed it on computers without knowing the fact that Windows Media Player 12 of Windows 7 Beta 1 has a bug in it.

Windows Media Player 12 is a new media player from Microsoft which is pre-installed on Windows 7, but unfortunately it has MP3 corruption bug. This bug erases around 2-3 seconds of song from beginning.

Microsoft’s Spokesperson has confirmed the bug in Windows Media Player 12 and they have released update KB961367 for Windows 7.

KB961367 is the first official Windows 7 update from Microsoft team and it is available for TechNet and MSDN subscribers.
