Windows 8, Microsoft’s next major release in the software business, has already started hinting new features through leaked screenshots and images. Since Windows 8 Milestone 1 and Milestone 2 development stages, the leak trend and rumors have increased in large numbers, and it seems that this trend will continue till the release of final build.
Now, some more leaked Windows 8 screenshots have surfaced on a Chinese website, which apparently depict Windows 8 App Store for Windows users. Have a look at the following images -
Yes, it’s the Windows App Store! Microsoft and Apple have been fighting over the word “App Store”. Apple basically doesn’t want any other company to use their trademark to provide consumer oriented services, and Microsoft believes that App Store word should be allowed to use on any Application Store. We are not sure about the reason why Microsoft is looking for this magical word, but the screenshots do suggest that the giant company has some solid plans for the future.
Coming back to the topic, the Windows 8 App Store design looks like a replica of Mac App Store, and it’s certain that Microsoft won’t go for a duplicate system to run their business. Apart from this, it’s very difficult to figure out any new feature from those images.
