We all know that Microsoft and HTC are not going to release Windows Phone 7 upgrade for HTC HD2 users. It’s really frustrating for those who have bought the mobile phone to enjoy Windows Phone 7 OS on it.
But hey, there is an interesting thing you can do with your HTC HD2. A developer has designed an emulator to run the Windows 95 on the device. Watch the video running Windows 95 on HTC HD2.

As you can see in above video, Windows 95 runs on the Qemu and HTC Hd2’s 1GHz processor is supporting really well. The developer has shown MS Paint running on the phone, but you can also run other applications with ease. You can find instructions regarding this emulator on XDA forum.
If you are thinking to run Windows 7 (Desktop OS), it might not be possible as of now. However, it would be interesting to see if we could run popular Windows XP on the device.
Of course, running Windows 95 on HTC HD2 is not as cool as using any other mobile OS. You will find many glitches and bugs while using it on your phone. Do try it and let me know your experiences and views about it.

These days the OS for the portables are way better than what Windows 95 ever was
but I can run diablo 2 on windows 95. talk about good games !
