Microsoft offers Windows Phone 7 to GeoHot; Hacker Pleased with New Approach

It seems like Microsoft wants more hackers in their Windows Phone 7 development team. Yesterday, we had reported about ChevronWP7 and Microsoft team conference, where the hackers got surprised with software giant’s approach towards Windows Phone hacking.

GeoHot is known for his useful iPhone unlock and jailbreak tools, and recent legal action by Sony team has brought him again in the limelight. Although he’s not available on any social networking site, he has updated his website with the following message to readers -

perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers
I’m going out to buy a Windows 7 phone

It’s not clear if he really wants to get into Windows Phone 7 jailbreaking, but Microsoft’s approach is commendable and it will definitely help them improve Windows Phone 7 OS.

Who’s next to receive Microsoft goodies…MuscleNerd or Comex?
