Google’s Android platform has already got the success in short time, and many other companies are looking to produce Android based mobile phones and tablet devices in near future.

Nikolay Grebennikov, chief technology officer for Kaspersky, revealed some shocking information -

Applications loaded with malicious software are infiltrating the Google operating system at a faster rate than hackers did with personal computers at the same stage in development.

Apparently, Android virus or malware developers know that their malicious code can affect millions of devices within few hours or days. It looks like hackers have started shifting their focus to mobile platforms, as it gives more exposure as well as money than personal computers.

Of course, this is not something new for those who are following Android news, but the real concern is that the popularity of this platform is increasing each day. Google and other manufacturers need to act quickly on these malware, or else it will be harmful for many Android users.
