2000 lexus es 300 review

The 2000 lexus es 300 review is a nice mix of luxury and convenience. It offers a strong V6, plenty of options and a wide range of safety features. It's the perfect entry-level car for those who want to experience Lexus luxury, but don't have a large budget.

POWER: The 2000 model's 210-hp 3.0-liter V6 is strong and responsive, especially in the low-speeds where it's most useful. Variable valve timing allows the engine to deliver an enormous amount of torque, which is why 0-60 mph times are near the top of the class.

RIDE: The ES 300's all-independent suspension uses gas-pressurized shock absorbers and stabilizer bars to provide smooth, comfortable ride without sacrificing control. The supple, well-distributed rear suspension is particularly impressive.

SEATS: The ES 300 is roomy, with seating for five in the front and more in the back. The seats are very comfortable, with excellent support and plenty of adjustability.

INTRAACTIVE: The interior has the same superior fit and finish that you'd expect from a Lexus. The dashboard and door panels are beautifully crafted, with no glaring plastic or vinyl that looks cheap or unfinished. Walnut trim on the doors and console adds a touch of expensiveness to the interior, while electroluminescent gauges are easy to read in the dark.

CONVENIENCE: Getting in and out of the ES 300 is a breeze thanks to a key fob that integrates the remote-entry system with a standard LS-like key. A twist of the key lowers both front windows and opens the power moonroof.
