Mushie & Co, LLC of California has recalled more than 330,000 FRIGG silicone pacifiers because a fine slit on the base of the nipple can cause it to detach from the plastic shield of the pacifier and pose a choking hazard for children. The pacifiers were sold in over 40 colors and two sizes (0-6 months and 6-18 months), and bear the brand name “FRIGG” printed on the plastic shield.
To safely and effectively clean your FRIGG pacifiers, place them in a bowl, and pour boiling water overtop. Leave them to soak for 3-5 minutes, and then remove them from the bowl and place on a flat surface to dry. Do not use sterilizers, microwaves or dishwashers. Pacifiers may experience texture changes and discoloration with repeated washing or exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight. Discard pacifiers at the first sign of damage or weakness.
