The mysterious Cosmog is one of the more interesting Legendary Pokemon that players can encounter in the Pokemon Sun and Moon games, and its ethereal appearance has led many to ask how they can evolve it into either Solgaleo or Lunala. Unlike the majority of Legendaries in the game, Cosmog can be evolved by completing certain special research quests, so it’s not something that can simply be found or encountered in raids. Fortunately, this article will provide players with a detailed guide on how to evolve cosmog.

Cosmog is a small Pokemon that resembles a nebula, and its entire body is covered by a thin layer of gas that covers all but the very center of the Pokemon. This area is black in both front and back, and two wispy extensions containing starry specks serve as its arms. Cosmog does not have a mouth, but it appears to be capable of feeding itself by absorbing light energy. It is also one of the lightest Pokemon in the world.

In the wild, a Cosmog is curious and playful but overly trusting and naive, carelessly approaching even those it does not know. It is able to use its arms to teleport, and it can also open a portal to another dimension when enraged.

In Pokemon Go, Cosmog can be evolved into Solgaleo or Lunala by using 25 of the Pokémon’s Candy. However, the evolution process is slightly more complex, as the player must first complete steps five through to eight of the Cosmic Companion Special Research story and then select the option to “Evolve a Cosmog.” It should be noted that Cosmog can only be evolved into Solgaleo or Lunala during the daytime.
