A Lamageddon Review

LLAMAGEDDON stars a real life Louie the Llama as an alien devilish llama from another planet sent to Earth to cause chaos. It lands on a house full of partying teenagers and begins to trample, chomp, spit, electrocute, fling llama juice and blow up these idiots in all sorts of ridiculous ways. This movie is a blast to watch. It doesn’t take itself seriously and is just a fun way to watch a llama destroy people. The opening metal riff complimenting the terrific animated llamas and the closing Slim Shady-esque rap song over the credits written specifically for this movie make it one of the best B-horror flicks I’ve seen in awhile.

It may seem that I’m being harsh but this film doesn’t do a good job of making you care about any of the characters. That’s ok though, it isn’t supposed to. The acting is cheesy and the special effects look like they came from a cheap movie store. It isn’t the best film ever made but it is a fun llama killing movie with a cool name.

This movie was a fun ride but it’s not worth paying to see. You can watch it for free on Amazon or on any streaming service. The filmmakers are working on a sequel to this called Alpacalypse which should have even more llama slaughter and alien invasion madness! They need more money to finish it so if you’re a fan of this type of movie, be sure to support them.
