acid music studio 11 review

Make your first song in minutes with this loop-based music production program from Magix. Start with one of the 2,500 included ACIDized loops, customize it and then add instruments to create your first full song. A powerful 64-bit engine utilizes your computer’s resources to run the biggest of projects smoothly. With a sleek, modern interface, ACID Music Studio 11 is the perfect entry point into professional-quality loop-based composition.

The developer which picked up all of Sony’s old audio apps has updated the legendary ACID to version 11. Based on a sleek new interface with more power under the hood, ACID Music Studio 11 boasts an impressive list of features including a reworked 64-bit engine and inspiring new content. It makes it easy to compose, edit and mix like a pro, with integrated tutorials taking you through the process step-by-step. Other new features include a multitrack mixer with 24-bit/192 support; Inline editing in the timeline for flawless notes and beats; Drum Grid mode for perfect beat programming; MIDI sequencing with the familiar piano roll editor; powerful effects from Brainworx, including vintage-style synthesizers and an automatic tuner; and a range of unique remixing tools, such as Beatmapper, Chopper and a drum re-ordering tool called Drum Grid. Beatmapper locks imported music to the tempo and key of your song, making it easy to remix. It also offers a variety of time-stretching methods, including Zplane elastique Pro and a metronome count-off. You can even sculpt sound with the ACID Morph Pads, which allow you to apply an array of analogue-style effects to audio and MIDI.
