Aging Room quattro nicaragua review
For cigar enthusiasts seeking a well-balanced, small-batch smoke, look no further than the boutique library of Aging Room brand cigars. Each one rolled by master artisans in small batches is carefully blended to provide a rich and smooth experience from first puff to last.
The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo is a bold puro that will appeal to the full-bodied cigar lover in all of us. Created by Rafael Nodal, it is a complex blend that delivers notes of black pepper pice and cocoa yet finishes with a hint of sweetness.
It is box-pressed in a torpedo shape, and is wrapped in a chocolate brown Nicaraguan wrapper leaf. There are hardly any veins and there are no blemishes to be seen on the wrapper, making it a beautiful cigar to hold in your hand.
After a slow start, the Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo opens with earth and cocoa aromas, with a veiled spiciness of black pepper. These are present on an even playing field during the first third, which also features hints of grass and vegetables.
The Aging Room Quattro line of cigars has been a huge success for Boutique Brands and their co-owner Rafael Nodal. They have been a constant presence on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 list, and their Maestro torpedo took home the title of Cigar of the Year 2019. Fernandez has worked with Nodal on several projects for Altadis, USA, and he has made cigars for H. Upmann, Montecristo, and Romeo y Julieta, among others.
