After carefully reviewing your Albert AP Chemistry practice test to identify areas you need to study, begin making an AP Chemistry review schedule. Give yourself a few days for each content area and try to commit to studying 15-20 minutes a day. This will be more effective than cramming the night before and can prevent you from getting overtired and stressed.

Practice using online chemistry review resources, including the College Board’s free downloadable materials, to get familiar with the exam format and practice real multiple-choice questions and free-response questions. When practicing AP Chemistry questions, remember to carefully read each question and consider all of the possible answer choices. Once you have identified the correct answer, choose that option and explain why it is the best choice. Then, describe the other options and why they are incorrect. Make sure to examine any visual materials provided, such as graphs, tables, figures, and images. Also, pay close attention to the task verbs in the questions and ensure that your answers clearly address each of them.

Another great resource is the Chemistry Review Magazine, a full color magazine that makes this complex subject fun and easy to understand. Each issue includes short articles from chemists working all over the world. The articles are well-written and a must-read for anyone interested in chemistry. This is a great resource for students taking A-Level or Higher chemistry and undergraduate chemists. Use this magazine for background reading, to learn about the latest research in the field, or just to find some inspiration.
