Aquashade Review

More than just a colorant, Aquashade(r) is an EPA registered blend of dyes proven to control underwater aquatic plants by screening out sunlight that is needed for photosynthesis. Used in conjunction with herbicides or algaecides for control of surface algae mats and shallow-water plants, this product works quickly to suppress plant growth.

Using a special blend of blue and yellow dyes, Aquashade(r) screens out portions of the sunlight spectrum (red-orange and blue-violet) needed by underwater plant and algae growth. This enables the dyes to inhibit plant growth from taking root and also reduces the growth of algae that is already rooted in the pond.

Aquashade(r) is a precise EPA registered blend of dyes that work together to screen or shade portions of the sunlight spectrum (red-orange, blue-violet) that are known to promote underwater weed and algae growth. This filtration property helps limit algae proliferation in a variety of controlled waterways including ornamental and golf course ponds, lakes, fountains and fish farms.

Use one gallon per acre of water with an average depth of 4 feet for the maximum concentration. Apply as a pre-emergent treatment before the growing season to ensure best results.

Application directions: Easily apply by pouring directly into the water. The dyes will disperse within several hours of natural water movement.

AQUASHADE Liquid is the perfect water dye for use in ponds, lakes and fountains. It is easy to apply, just pour it in along the water's edge and natural water movements will quickly disperse the product until even coloration is achieved throughout.
