The ar 332 review is a low-priced prism red dot scope for lawmen, military personnel and competitive shooters who need additional range from a compact, fast-acquisition optic. The large, 32 mm objective delivers bright, crisp images. The Ballistic CQ illuminated reticle is effective at 500 yards and features holdover dots for precise shooting at distant threats. A rotary, 10-position power selector accommodates all lighting conditions and runs on one CR2032 battery. The tactical-style, mil-spec design is shockproof and fogproof, mounts to all standard flat top rail systems and is backed by Burris’ Forever Warranty.
Burris Optics is a well-known name in optics and the AR-332 is no exception. It is a solid market performer that has a great reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. It is a very affordable prism scope that is well-suited for many applications and is a good alternative to other higher priced optics.
It is designed to work with tactical carbines chambered for 5.56mm and works particularly well on AR-15 platforms (16" barrels are ideal). The optic also works with Beretta ARX 160, Ruger Mini-14, and AK variants. The optic is fog proof, waterproof and built to last with Hi-Lume multi-coatings that enhance light transmission and minimize glare.
The optic is very easy to use with a windage and elevation adjustment knob that are tethered together and can be dialed in with just a few clicks. Illumination is controlled with a rotary power selector that has five "red" brightness settings, five "green" brightness settings and the option of turning illumination off completely. The reticle appears black when illumination is off.
