Arex Delta m gen 2 review

There are many polymer striker fired pistols in the sub-$500 range, but few are as well built and equipped as the Arex Delta m gen 2. It's a great example of how you can get a lot of features in this price range that you wouldn't normally see on a gun of this caliber.

One of the most notable things about this pistol is that it's incredibly easy to disassemble and clean. The barrel only protrudes a fraction of an inch and the chamber indicator is dead center in the back of the slide, making it really obvious when it's loaded or not.

The AREX Delta m gen 2 also has a really nice trigger, and it's surprisingly robust for this budget. Typically, you'll find pistols in this price range with sloppy triggers that take a long time to reset and lots of slack travel before engaging.

AREX has also stepped up their game in this pistol with a solid magazine release and slide stop, both of which we found to function well when we tested them in use. The magazines are also a bit more robust than those on most other pistols in this price range, and they can handle a wide variety of ammo without a problem. The only issue was that they were a bit stiff to load at first. The springs should start to loosen up over time. The Delta m gen 2 also comes with a couple of extra backstraps and a nice cleaning kit, so you can keep this pistol in top shape and ready for action.
