Asus Q302l Review

The Asus Q302l is an inexpensive laptop with a great deal of features. It’s a good choice for travelers or students.

The screen is bright and sharp, with good color reproduction. Blacks aren’t as deep as the Aspire V3 and Toshiba Chromebook, but they are well-defined.

In tablet mode, the IPS panel offers great viewing angles. But the glossy screen tends to become a bit difficult to read in low-light settings. This is easily remedied by applying anti-glare film.

Battery life is pretty good for the price, at about 12 hours in normal use. It also doesn’t run hot, which is a big plus.

The laptop weighs just over 1.8 kg, which is a few hundred grams heavier than the Acer Aspire V3 but lighter than the HP Pavilion 13 x360. However, it feels solid and has a nice weight to it.
