Obituaries
A wealthy farmer and his wife, both of Benton county, were killed and three children injured yesterday afternoon near Fowler when their automobile upset while attempting to avoid a ditch. The necks of the two elder children were broken and those of the two younger ones bruised. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning, and is expected to attract a large number of ex-soldiers and sailors from Hoquaiam, Montesano and other places in the county. The funeral expenses are to be paid by the friends of the deceased.
Survivors include daughters, Christina Abbott and Wendy Knaupp; son, Scott Benton; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
