Functionality – Good (4/5)

The double belt rig uses an outer duty belt secured via MOLLE bands to an inner belt for the mounting of pouches and accessories. It worked exactly as expected, allowing for the attachment of holsters and pouches compliant to MOLLE/PALS systems with ease. Donning and removing the inner unpadded belt was simple when appropriately sized for the waist, and the buckle felt robust.

Durability – Excellent (5/5)

The outer belt was thick and durable, with bartack stitching along the entire length of the belt, and reinforced at key stress points. The locking mechanism on the AustriaAlpine buckle was rated to sustain 18,000 lbs of load which translated into significant durability.

Whether you need a high capacity duty belt for your day job or an EDC belt to support all of the gear you’ll carry at the range or instructing class, look no further than blue alpha. They know what law enforcement officers really need and have taken the standard duty belt to the next level of functionality. They also make a smaller belt using the same buckle that works well for AIWB appendix carry. Everything is made and assembled in the USA and they offer a lifetime no questions asked warranty.
