bogner la grange review

Bogner's newest member in their "Amp in a Box" series is the La Grange, a pedal that will bring your favorite British rock sounds of the 60's and beyond to life.

The Bogner La Grange is a two-in-one pedal, combining a first-class Plexi emulator with an independent variable boost. With its wide-ranging tonal control, it can deliver the classic '60s and '70s British overdrive sound.

What sets the La Grange apart from other pedals in this genre is the amazing amount of flexibility that Bogner packed into its rugged metal housing. The main controls include your standard volume, gain and tone controls but features such as a channel blend that simulates jumping the channels on an old Plexi, variac and structure switches that change the headroom and response of the pedal, and an expression pedal jack for real time gain control make the La Grange more than just a one trick pony.

Designed by Reinhold Bogner, the La Grange is a highly authentic emulation of the legendary Plexi amps from the mid-60's. The wide variety of switches and knobs reproduce decades of legendary plexi tones, from the tuned amplifiers of the 60's to the modded amps of the 80's and 90's.
