buff filter tube review

As the COVID-19 pandemic erupted in 2020 face coverings such as face masks, neck gaiters and BUFF's multifunctional tube headwear became mainstays of life. As a result they were some of the earliest recommendations from health authorities to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Now BUFF has taken the idea one step further with the new FIlter Tube Mask. This lightweight and comfortable face covering is designed to be worn all day, meeting the requirements of European standard EN 14683:2019 on Bacterial Filtration Efficiency and Breathability for surgical masks. Designed to feel and fit just like your favorite BUFF product, the mask offers an ergonomic design that avoids pressure on the ears.

It features a 3-Layer certified replacement filter system, that achieves 98% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency and meets the requirements of European standard EN 14683:2019 relating to breathing and bacterial filtration efficiency for surgical masks. This is achieved by the combination of three combined layers and a breathable mesh structure. The filters are placed in the HeiQ V-Block antimicrobial treated pocket, which is made of a highly breathable fabric that is both durable and easy to change.

The FIlter Tube feels and fits just like your favorite BUFF product and is super comfortable to wear all day thanks to the HeiQ V-Block antimicrobial treatment that is both durable and easily reversible. The fabric has been treated with a biocide based on recycled silver salt and is both glue and latex-free.
