cheetah ebike review

Top Speed: 28 MPH (Pedal Assist)/ 20 MPH (Throttle Assist), Class 2/3

The cheetah is an extremely powerful ebike, with the ability to reach top speed of 28 mph using either pedal assist or throttle. This makes it a great bike for those who don’t want to go all out with a pedal assist, but still would like the ability to reach top speeds with ease.

Powerful Motor:

The Civi Bikes Cheetah ebike is equipped with a powerful Bafang geared hub motor, capable of reaching 750 watts of output. This is a high torque motor that can quickly climb hills and accelerate to top speed, while also maintaining an efficient battery charge.

Fat Tires: The cheetah features large 4-inch wide tires that increase traction and improve overall ride quality. The tires also act as a suspension, absorbing some of the bumps and jolts from the road.

Rigid Forks: The cheetah is equipped with steel forks that help absorb some of the road vibration. The cheetah does not have a rear suspension, but an aftermarket one can be easily added.

Front/Rear Tektro Hydraulic Brake: The cheetah comes with a front and rear hydraulic disc brake that will stop you at any time you need it. This is a very efficient and safe way to brake when riding in urban areas or other busy places.

Cadence Sensor: The cheetah is also equipped with a cadence sensor that measures the rotation of the cranks, which in turn tells the motor when to activate and deactivate the drivetrain. There is some delay in this system, but it’s not a deal breaker.
