Coastal Charm, Vibrant Town, and a thriving Economy

Brunswick is a charming seaside community that has 67 miles of scenic coastline, a vibrant downtown, and a booming waterfront. With top-ranked schools, plenty of opportunities for healthy outdoor recreation and a diverse cultural scene, it is a wonderful place to call home.

Located in the heart of the Golden Isles, Brunswick offers a variety of attractions including enchanting parks, a magnificent bridge, kaleidoscopic shrimp boats, and centuries-old trees. It also provides easy access to the nearby islands, which include ancient forts, historic battlefields, photogenic lighthouses, and extraordinary beaches.

Art galleries, theatres and restaurants are a great way to spend an evening in Brunswick. Check out SoGlo, a contemporary art gallery, and watch a lively play at the Brunswick Actors Theatre.

Discover Old Town Brunswick on a guided tour by Last Ride Ghost Tours. They offer a personalized hearse for up to six people to explore the fascinating history, mysteries and tales of Brunswick’s historic Old Town.

The Ritz Theater is a historic theatre that was originally designed for opera, but today it hosts musical concerts, plays, dance performances, parties and film screenings. It is owned by the city and operated by Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association.

Every year, the Brunswick Stewbilee holds a stew-cooking competition that attracts crowds of both locals and tourists. It also features a motorcycle ride, live music, a canine parade and a classic car exhibition. There are several cooking teams from all over the country that compete for the Peoples’ Choice and Judges’ awards, so be sure to stop by!
